I would define my style of photography as “technical”. When I was 13, a friend gave me the developing kit he had received for Christmas because he was not interested in it. I, however, became fascinated with this chemistry and built darkrooms and developed my own photos until I was in my thirties. While an engineering student at the University of Maine, Orono, I even developed Kodachrome film (no small feat) in a physics class on photography.
Over the years, while transitioning to the digital medium, I added more equipment relevant to my interests in architectural, product and macro & micro photography. My commercial work has included people and product photos for annual reports, construction and progress photos for contractors, interiors for architects, etc.
My goal, whether shooting a large structure or a small manufactured component, is to assist my clients in presenting and promoting their products and services.
